ITINERARY
Day 1. Monday, October 12: Transatlantic Flight to Lisbon
Depart today on a flight to Lisbon, Portugal.
Day 2. Tuesday, October 13: Lisbon - Fatima
Welcome to Lisbon! Upon arrival, board your private motorcoach and transfer to Fatima, where Our Lady appeared six times to three shepherd children in 1917. Today, it is one of the most visited holy places for Catholics from around the world. After hotel check-in, take an orientation walk to the Basilica premises. Tonight, mingle with fellow travelers during dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Fatima. (D)
Day 3. Wednesday, October 14: Fatima
This morning, return to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, housing the tombs of Sr. Lucia, and Sts. Francisco & Jacinta, and also visit the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. In the afternoon, visit the small village of Aljustrel, where the children once lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s apparition after the children’s return from prison. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra, culminating in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. After tonight’s dinner at your hotel, you may wish to join the nightly candlelight rosary procession at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. (BB, D)
Day 4. Thursday, October 15: Fatima - Lourdes
This morning, transfer to Lisbon airport for your group flight to Bilbao. Upon arrival in Bilbao, transfer to Lourdes, where thousands of physical and spiritual healings have taken place over the years. After hotel check-in, make your first visit to the famous Grotto where Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (BB, D)
Day 5. Friday, October 16: Lourdes
A day of many graces in Lourdes! In 1858, Bernadette Soubirous experienced 18 apparitions of the Blessed Virgin at the Grotte Massabielle. Your sightseeing today includes the sanctuary, with the upper and lower Basilicas, and the Basilica of St. Pius X, the world’s largest underground church. Following Our Lady’s request of “Go and drink and wash at the fountain”, go through the “water gesture” at the baths, washing your face, hands, and forearms with Lourdes water. Tonight, participate in the nightly candlelight procession and rosary requested by Our Lady. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (BB, D)
Day 6. Saturday, October 17: Lourdes - Limpias
This morning, journey to Limpias, Spain, a stop closer to Garabandal. Limpias is famous for the miracles of 1914 and 1919 associated with the six-foot crucifix hanging in the parish church, which stimulated a resurgence of devotion. Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Limpias. (BB, D)
Day 7. Sunday, October 18: Excursion to garabandal
This morning, journey to Garabandal, a small hamlet of some 80 humble dwellings in the Cantabrian Mountains of northwest Spain. This small village is known for its apparitions of the Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangel to four young girls from 1961 to 1965. Afterwards, enjoy some free time for prayer. Return to Limpias for dinner and overnight. (BB, D)
Day 8. Monday, October 19: Limpias - Paris

Day 9. Tuesday, October 20: Paris: Rue du Bac & City Tour
Begin your day with a visit to the Shrine of St. Vincent de Paul and the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, housing the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Labouré and the heart of St. Vincent de Paul. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided orientation tour of Paris, including an exterior view of Notre Dame Cathedral, an icon of Paris, a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. It has been the site of several coronations, and during the French Revolution was desecrated and rechristened as the Temple of Reason. The remains of Our Lord’s Crown of Thorns are now kept in a magnificent reliquary at the treasury and are shown on the First Friday of each month and every Friday during Lent. Dinner and overnight in Paris. (BB, D)
Day 10. Wednesday, October 21: Paris: Sacré-Cœur & Sainte-Chapelle
This morning, visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Montmartre, built on the site of the martyrdom of St. Denis, first bishop of Paris, and his companions. In the Basilica, the Blessed Sacrament has been exposed uninterruptedly for adoration since 1885. Then, visit the Church of St. Peter of Montmartre, the oldest surviving church in Paris, where the first vows of the Society of Jesus were taken in 1534. After lunch on your own, visit the Sainte-Chapelle built by King St. Louis IX to house the Crown of Thorns, which he had brought back from the Holy Land. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Paris. (BB, D)
Day 11. Thursday, October 22: Paris: St. Denis & Farewell Dinner
Begin your day with a visit to St. Denis Basilica, the burial place of St. Denis, first bishop, martyr, and patron saint of France.
