Tuesday, June 11: USA – Tel Aviv
Depart today towards the Holy Land.

Wednesday, June 12: Arrival – Bethlehem
Upon arrival into Tel Aviv, meet your tour escort and drive to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight. (D)

Thursday, June 13: Bethlehem: Excursion to Ein Karem
This morning travel into the “hill country of Judea” to the city of Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Visit Mary’s well and the Church of the Visitation, built over the home of Zacharias. Continue to “Shepherds’ Field,” also the site of Boaz’s field, to visit the cave of the Shepherds, where the angels appeared and announced the birth of Christ. Then, have a sightseeing of Bethlehem, the royal city of David, to pray at the Cave of the Nativity, the birthplace of the Savior. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner at Bedouin Tent with special Middle Eastern food – just 300 feet away from Shepherds’ Field. Overnight in Bethlehem. (B, WD)

Friday, June 14: Bethlehem – Jericho – Baptismal Site – Mt. Carmel – Tiberias
Travel to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Take a cable car to the Mt. of Temptation for a visit to the Greek Orthodox Monastery; enjoy great views over Jericho, the Dead Sea, Mt. Moab and Mt. Nebo in Jordan. Afterwards, stop at the site, on the Jordan River, where it is claimed that St. John baptized Our Lord. Continue to Mt. Carmel and visit the Carmelite Monastery of St. Elijah. Afterwards, visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery, where the Carmelite Order was founded. Arrive into Tiberias for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Saturday, June 15: Tiberias: Excursion to Mt. Tabor, Cana, & Nazareth
Drive to Mt. Tabor and enjoy beautiful views of the Jezreel Valley and the Plain of Esdraelon. Visit the Church of the Transfiguration. Next, visit Cana in Galilee, where Our Lord performed His first miracle by turning water into wine. Then travel to Nazareth and visit Mary’s Well in the Church of St. Gabriel and stroll through Nazareth’s colorful bazaar as you walk Mary’s road to her home and the site of the Annunciation, as well as the Church of St. Joseph. Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Sunday, June 16: Tiberias: Galilee, Mt. of Beatitudes, Church of the Twelve Apostles, Capernaum
The Sea of Galilee is rich in memories of the three years of Our Lord’s Ministry. The day opens with a visit to the Mt. of Beatitudes, the scene of the Sermon on the Mount, followed by a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and a visit to the Church of the Twelve Apostles. Next, explore the ruins of Capernaum, including the ancient Jewish synagogue and St. Peter’s house. Visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the Chapel of the Primacy at Tabgha. (B, D)

Monday, June 17: Tiberias – Jordan Valley, Bethany, Jerusalem
Today, drive through the Jordan Valley to Bethany and the place of Lazarus’ tomb. Continue to Jerusalem for a walk down Mt. Olivet, visiting the Church of Dominus Flevit, where Our Lord wept over the city of Jerusalem. Continue on the Palm Sunday road into the Kidron Valley to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Our Lord began the way of His Passion. Continue to Mt. Zion to visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu and the palace of Caiaphas, where Our Lord was imprisoned. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B, D)

Tuesday, June 18: Jerusalem
Very early, walk the path of Our Lord’s Passion to Calvary and end with the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Then, enjoy an in-depth tour of this church, including a visit to the tomb of Adam and the tombs of Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. Continue to Mt. Zion for a visit to the Church of the Dormition, the Upper Room, and the tomb of King David. The rest of the day is free. (B, D)

Wednesday, June 19: Jerusalem
Today visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Church of Pater Noster, where Our Lord taught His disciples how to pray. Continue to see the Tomb of the Mother of God. Finally, visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount. (B, D)

Thursday, June 20: Jerusalem: Excursion to Qumran, Masada, Dead Sea
Today visit the Caves of Qumran and enjoy a spectacular view of the Dead Sea. Continue to visit Masada, the isolated mountain-top fortress, captured by the Romans after a siege of two years in 73 AD. On your return to Jerusalem, have an opportunity to wade and bathe in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B, D)

Friday, June 21: Jerusalem
Today is a free day. You may visit the Armenian quarter, or walk along the walls of the ancient city of Jerusalem, or visit to St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda. Your day concludes with a special farewell dinner. (B, FD)

Saturday, June 22: Tel Aviv – USA
Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your return flight to the USA. (B)
