Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Fly from the U.S. to Lisbon, Portugal

Travel from the US to Lisbon today.

Day 2: Lisbon – Santarem – Fatima

Upon arrival into Lisbon, your tour escort will greet you at the gate and take you to your motor coach. Travel to Santarem to visit the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle that houses a crystal flask containing the Blood of Christ. Continue to Fatima for a welcome dinner where you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and plan on the days ahead. (WD)

Day 3: Fatima

Enjoy a full day in Fatima. Visit the Little Chapel of the Apparitions; the Basilica, the site of Francisco, Jacinta, and Sister Lucia’s graves; the Hamlet of Aljustrel where the children lived; and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s apparition after the children’s return from prison. Tonight you may join the processions and rosary. (BB, D)

Day 4: Fatima – Lourdes

Return to Lisbon today to take your flight to Toulouse, France. Upon arrival, board your motor-coach and travel to Lourdes. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (BB, D)

Day 5: Lourdes

Morning free to visit the Baths and to pray for your personal intentions. In the afternoon a walking tour will take you to the sites related to the Apparitions: The Miraculous spring, the Grotto of the Apparitions, the Basilica and Stations of the Cross, as well as the healing baths. Then the sites related to St. Bernadette: Boly mill, the “Cachot” the prison cell which was the family’s home, and St. Bernadette’s baptismal font. Afterwards, you may join the procession of the sick and the candlelight procession of the rosary. (BB, D)

Day 6: Lourdes – Issoudun – Nevers

Travel by motor coach to Issoudun and visit the motherhouse of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. This international missionary order was founded in 1854 by Fr. Jules Chevalier, and its goal is to make known the love of God through His Sacred Heart. Later in the afternoon continue to Nevers for dinner and overnight. (BB, D)

Day 7: Nevers – Paris

This morning in Nevers, visit the Convent of the Sisters of Charity where St. Bernadette spent the last 12 years of her life, and where her incorrupt body can be venerated. Afterwards, travel to Paris, for a panoramic view of the city. Visit the magnificent Sainte Chapelle with its amazing stained-glass windows and important catholic treasures. Notre Dame cathedral will also amaze you, with its grandeur and magnificent architecture and stained glass. Afterwards, enjoy a view of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower, before the transfer to the hotel. (BB, D)

Day 8: Paris – Split – Medjugorje

Fly from Paris to Split, Croatia. Upon arrival, board your private motor coach, cross into Bosnia Herzegovina, and arrive into Medjugorje. There, climb MountCrucifix and attend Mass and rosary before dinner at the hotel. (BB, D)

Day 9: Medjugorje

Spend a day of prayer and quiet in Medjugorje to pray inside the shrine and climb Apparition Hill. Overnight in Medjugorje. (BB, L, D)

Day 10: Medjugorge – Split – Ancona

This afternoon, travel to Split to take an overnight ferry to Ancona, Italy. Dinner will be on your own in Split or at the ferry boat. (BB, L)

Day 11: Ancona – Assisi – Rome

Upon arrival into Ancona, Italy, a private motor coach will take you to the medieval city of Assisi. Visit St. Francis, St. Clare, and Our Lady of the Angels Basilicas. Then spend some time on your own before departing towards Rome. On the way to the hotel, stop for a beautiful panoramic view of the Eternal City. Dinner and overnight inRome. (D)

Day 12: Rome

Visit the magnificent Basilica of St. Peter, site of his martyrdom, where you can see the famous “Pieta”, the tombs of the popes, and much more. Then, the Coliseum, famous as a place of spectacle and death, and where many martyrs died. The Catacombs, where Christians were buried. Finally, St. Paul Outside the Walls, to render homage to the remains of the Apostle. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (BB, D)

Day 13: Rome

This morning attend the Papal Audience at theVatican. As is customary, the Pope will give his blessing at the end of the audience. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, visiting sites or shopping for souvenirs to bring home. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner and toast. (BB, FD)

Day 14: Return flight to the US

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Rome’s International Airport for your flight back to the U.S. (BB)
