  TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

A valid passport with expiration date at least six months after traveling is required. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PACK YOUR PASSPORT IN YOUR LUGGAGE. PLEASE HAVE IT ALWAYS WITH YOU! You will have to deliver your passport to the chief purser for the duration of the cruise.

VISA

Only USA and Canadian passport holders do not require any visa for this program.

WEIGHT LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE

One bag of total 50 lbs is allowed for the check-in and one carry-on that should fit in the cabin.

CLOTHING

DRESS CODE: Lightweight and preferably cotton clothes are recommended to suit the weather conditions of the countries you will visit. Do not forget to pack your umbrella, your toilette bag, a spare pair of glasses or contact lenses if you use them. A hat and sunglasses are always recommended. A pair of binoculars is also recommended; you will enjoy your sailing and excursions more.

ON SHORE: Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended when you are on excursions as they often include some walking. Bring a light sweater with you in case of rain or if you find the motorcoach air-conditioning is too cold. If you visit places of worship, shorts are not allowed and the shoulders must be covered.

ONBOARD DURING THE DAY: Dress code is casual; shorts, t-shirts etc.

EVENING DRESS CODE: Your daily program will inform you of the daily dress code onboard after 6:00 pm. There will be some informal and some formal evenings that will be communicated to you day by day on the daily program. For the formal night, gentlemen are required to wear a dark suit and the ladies an evening dress. For the informal night, suit or jacket and tie would be appropriate for gentlemen and a cocktail dress, skirt or pantsuit for ladies. For the casual night: Comfortable simple clothes are suggested. Trousers, jeans, shirts or t-shirts for both ladies and gentlemen.

PAYMENT ONBOARD

The official currency onboard is the Euro. Passengers can exchange money onboard, AMEX/VISA/MASTERCARD are accepted. Upon embarkation, all passengers register their credit cards with the Purser office and charge all extras such as drinks/laundry/onboard services etc. to their cabin account which is settled at the last day.

GRATUITIES

I. CRUISE: Tipping for the whole staff of the cruise is $7 Euros per person per day and is automatically added to your cabin’s bill. Should you wish to modify this, please contact the chief purser onboard.

II. TOURING: Tipping suggested for the touring is $2 per person per excursion for the guide and same for driver.

MEALS

Breakfast is served buffet early bird at the Bistro and at proper times according to the time schedule in the dining room. Lunch is served around noon buffet style at the Bistro and in the open seating area of the restaurant. Dinner is served in the restaurant in two seatings, at 6:00pm and 7:00pm (exact time maybe modified according to the excursions).

All passengers will have been pre-assigned seating and tables for dinner.

SPECIAL DIETS

Passengers requiring special food preparation due to medical reasons are required to contact the maitre d’ onboard the first afternoon upon embarkation.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

Health requirements vary depending upon the countries you will be visiting.

Guests are required to report any physical disability that may require special attention or treatment to Catholic Heritage Tours at the time of booking.

YOUR MEDICATION

If you are taking any medication and you are under medical supervision, please bring a copy of your doctor’s notes with you.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

All vessels are equipped with a surgery and doctor who will see patients during opening hours. Emergencies are, of course, attended immediately. A customary fee is charged for the services and medication.

SMOKING/NON SMOKING POLICY

All lounges and dining rooms onboard are non smoking areas.

LAUNDRY AND PRESSING

A laundry and pressing service is available onboard the vessel (you will find a price list in your cabin). Leave your clothes in the laundry bags provided in your cabin. Your cabin steward will do what is necessary and return them to you the following day.

DUTY FREE SHOPS

Discover the fine selection of items in the duty free shops. The onboard shops are open only when sailing.

PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES

All your unforgettable experiences on excursions and onboard will be photographed by a professional team of photographers. All photos will then be displayed at the Photo Gallery.

BEAUTY SALON

The hairdresser onboard will take care of all your coiffure needs. We however suggest you make an appointment. A great opportunity to relax is also offered in the massage and beauty treatment area.

ELECTRIC CURRENT

The electric current onboard is 220 AC and plugs are of two round holes. Passengers from the USA need only plug adaptors. Please remember to bring appropriate plug adaptors.
